| Down Load or CD? |
| If you are using a slow modem, or a slow ISP, you may want to consider
ordering the CD. The file size of the download is 4.28M, sometimes this can cause problems
over a slow land line. The CD comes completely packaged and labeled, and has an auto run feature that makes viewing the book very easy. It costs a little more, but some will find it is worth it to have the e-book delivered in just a few days. |

| What is my default browser? |
| Your internet browser is the program you use to view internet content. The
most popular is MS Internet Explorer, which we recommend. You also may be using Netscape
or one of several other good browsers for the Internet. When an internet browser is installed on your computer, it will normally designate itself as the browser that opens when web sites or other internet pages using HTML are accessed. With some browsers, you will have to Edit Preferences or Options to make them your default browser. You can have several browsers on your computer, but the one that automatically opens when you view web pages is your default browser. |

| How long will the e-book be available? |
| This e-book will be available indefinitely. However, we cannot guarantee that it will always be available at its low introductory price. |

| What if I lose my book later on, can I download it again? |
| Yes. Just e-mail us at: "orders@puppydogmoon.com" with short note of explanation, your download serial#, and the username and password you were given when you originally downloaded the book. |

| After I download the book, I get a message that the file has been truncated or corrupted. |
| This condition will occur if the download of the e-book was not successful.
Check the properties of the file that you downloaded to make sure that you received all
4.28MB. This will happen most often when the download was performed over a telephone line.
The time that it takes to download the book increases the possibility of interruptions and
breaks in the download. Occasionally it will even occur at faster download speeds. Solution: Try the download again. You can continue to access your personal download page until you have received the total file. If you continue to have problems with the download, your land line, or your ISP may not be set up to receive such a large file as a download. Please contact us at "support@puppydogmoon.com" if you continue to have problems. |
| I viewed the book right after I downloaded. But now it won't open again. |
| This can happen if you unzipped "puppydogmoon.exe" to a Temporary Folder. Open "puppydogmoon.exe" again, and when it asks you where you want to unzip the files, designate a folder that is not named "Temporary," such as "My Documents" or "Program Files." When the book opens with the cover, bookmark or add this page to your Favorites in your browser. |
| The book doesn't open after it has self-extracted |
| This will happen if you do not have a default browser set on your computer. In
most cases, when you install your web browser, it automatically sets itself as your
default browser. This will change only if you have changed the settings from the original
installation. Solutions:
Open your favorite internet browser and reset your preferences or options to make
that browser the default browser. See the information in your browser's help files if you
don't remember how you reset them originally. Open "PuppyDogMoon.exe" again to
extract the files and start the book. Remember to add "puppydog.htm" to your favorites or bookmark this page in your browser to easily access the book when you want to read it again. |
| The book opens in an old browser that I don't use anymore |
| This will happen if you did not elect to make a more recently installed
browser your default browser when you installed it. Solutions: 1) Open your favorite internet browser and
reset your preferences or options to make that browser the default browser. See the
information in your browser's help files if you don't know how to make the new browser
your default browser. Open "PuppyDogMoon.exe" again to extract the files and
start the book. Remember to add "puppydog.htm" to your favorites or bookmark this page in your browser to easily access the book when you want to read it again. |
| The book tries to open in another program on my computer |
| This e-book has been created to be read with an internet browser. Several
programs on the market today, especially more recent multimedia programs like QuikTime
will associate themselves with all the files it can on your Hard Drive (if you let
them:). If internet file types (eg.
".jpg",".gif",".htm") have been associated with one of these
programs, the e-book may not work. Solution: Open the program that is attempting to open the book and edit/ preferences /associated file types. Uncheck internet type files in file type associations. |
| I don't see the animations |
| All current browsers are set to play GIF animations as the default setting.
But the browser's preferences/options can be set to not play animations. Why anyone would
do this is beyond comprehension! LOL Actually, in the old days, many people liked to
set their browser to ignore the pictures on webpages to make them download faster by
reading text only. Solution: Open your browser and edit preferences/ options. You can reset to default settings to enable graphics or animations, or you can use the list of check boxes to check "Play Animations". See your browser's help files for more information. |
| I don't hear the music |
| All current browsers support midi files like the ones included in this e-book. They must however have been installed with the plug-ins necessary to play midi files. If you do not have the plug-in to play midi files installed with your browser, it cannot play the music. Check with your browser's supplier for the latest plug-ins available. If your browser is an older version, some of the great new plug-ins won't be available for it. It may be time to upgrade. You are missing out on a lot that this book and the internet have to offer. |
